Our client was looking for an optimal solution to enable the classification of 12 different types of plastic covers.
These covers have very similar shape and colours and are mixed in a single bin before picking, which significantly increases the project's difficulty in identification.
DaoAI was able to meet the demands of this challenge by integrating our BP-L camera and vision software. By combining our industry leading camera accuracy and proprietary AI-powered segmentation and classification algorithms, we enabled the robot to precisely differentiate between the different plastic covers before picking and placing them as required.
